Hjälpmedel eller hot?

Citaten ovan är ur ett blogginlägg av den holländske sportfiskaren Sean Wit, publicerat på Savage Gears hemsida. Rubriken är "The surprising big threat to sportfishing". Sean är, det skriver han själv, en entusiastisk användare av moderna tekniska hjälpmedel i sitt fiske men har börjat reflektera över teknikutvecklingen och vart den leder oss. Intressant och välskrivet!

Seans slutsats är att tekniken ger oss verktyg och att det är upp till oss hur vi använder dem. Visst är det så. Precis så illa är det, för många av oss kommer att missbruka verktygen. Den skenande teknikutvecklingen gör sportfisket mer effektivt och behovet av etiska regler större än någonsin tidigare. 

Jag avslutar med ytterligare ett citat:  "How many will keep it pure or what that definition of pure will be, only time will tell. I will try to keep the balance between results and having fun. Don’t let the results from others on social media make your head spin and lose track of the fun part of fishing – that’s the best advice I can give any of you out there."
